- stops auto-sync, including a sync that is running at that moment, and unregisters the background service;
- deletes all local state in
~/.resumecontext: your login session, this machine’s ID, and every project’s sync progress and agent configuration; - removes the CLI package itself, if you installed it with
npm install -g resumecontext.
uninstall tells you to remove the
package yourself. If npm can’t remove it, for example because your global
packages need sudo, run this:
uninstall does not delete the .resumecontext.json file in your project
folders. That file may be committed and shared with teammates, so uninstall
lists where it is and leaves it for you to delete.
Local only. Your projects and their archived history stay in the cloud and
remain available to everyone with access, including you from another machine.
To remove a project’s history entirely, use
projects delete.
